Entrees & Sides
Sweet potato and tempeh happen to be two of my favorite things. This recipe has a delicious glaze and is oh so good. Use this as a side or as entree for the vegetarians in your family. My favorite brand of tempeh: Lightlife. Tastes so much better than the others!
These make great finger food, are easy to make, look pretty and taste divine. What more do you need?! Recipe from Plant Strong Vegan HERE.
Butternut Squash and Kale Salad
Butternut squash and kale are another two of my favorite things. I included this salad in the Thanksgiving menu a few years ago and it has been a tradition since. This paired with the sweet potato + tempeh would be SO YUM! Not a fan of kale, you will probably still like this salad. My extended family has been converted! Grab the recipe HERE.
Pumpkin rice bowl with maple balsamic tempeh. Need I say more? just YUM! 😛 This is a great option if you are looking to sub something for Turkey, but aren’t feeling the Tofurky, you know what I’m saying?! Recipe HERE.
A baked apple is the perfect holiday dessert. It is warm and tastes like comfort food, and still healthy. Make a single serving or 12. Easy to make ahead of time in the crock pot too! Grab the recipe HERE.
This delicious pie from Betty Rocker is the bomb.com! It is as good as it sounds. The best part, it is gluten free and dairy free. I also loved that isn’t super complicated to make. The pic above is from when I made this pie last year. This year, I be bringing some coconut cream to put on top. YUM! Get the recipe from Betty Rocker HERE.
