My name is Sarah and I am the founder of sweetblondesfitlife! I am SO glad you are here! I am passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
Read a post about my transformation HERE.
Like many people, I had a few ups and downs on my journey. I gained back some of the weight, then lost it again. I lost 60 lbs by 2012. After moving and having a lot of transition in my life, I stopped going to the gym all together. I also had reached what I thought was my “goal” so I felt like I didn’t have to work as hard. Boy was I wrong.
I took at 9 month break from working out. For a while, my body was able to stay similar to what it had been. However, with time, I started to loose progress. My weight crept up, and my body fat percentage also increased. I had been building a lot of muscle in my previous workouts and since I stopped all that I was doing, I while my weight didn’t fluctuate much at first, my muscle definition that I had was gone.
August 2013 I decided that I needed to get back to working out. I changed my habits and my lifestyle. I started incorporating at home workouts that I could continue even during my hectic work schedule. I also changed the way that I eat and nourish myself and that has contributed a lot to my success as well. Since August 2013, I have lost 30 lbs. I went from 190 in August ’13 to 160 in August ’14. Not only is the weight-loss great, I also feel a lot better. I have more energy, I have more confidence, and I am now in the best shape of my life!
I want to share fitness with others and make it more accessible. It really has transformed me and the life that I live. I used to think that I would never be able to loose weight and that exercise would always be hard… and look where I am today. That is why I am passionate about sharing fitness with others and helping them realize their goals in this area. It is possible and you can do it! It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.
Fitness has also brought wonderful people into my life, and allowed me opportunities that I never thought possible. It has empowered me not only my physical transformation, but also thru a mental transformation.
If you want to change because you are unhappy where you are and want to feel better, or if you need help reaching a physical goal like running a half marathon, contact me. I would love to help you in anyway that I can.
