Hey, what’s up, helloooooo! Happy November!! I have missed you guys! I’ve been somewhat silent with blogposts lately due to a lot going on in my life. I wasn’t in a good headspace and I have been super busy, so the inspiration to do things I love was lacking. I do love blogging and have really missed it, so it’s good to be back. To all my readers who reached out, thank you for the love. Today I’m sharing a little bit of my life lately with you which includes the storefront grand opening of my favorite smoothie bowl truck!! YAY!
My all time favorite place to grab a smoothie bowl, Healthy Bonez, has now opened a beautiful storefront location. The smoothie bowl truck has become a cafe!
My sister and I headed up to grab a bowl this weekend, and I was so happy and excited to see the new digs. I remember my first bowl from Healthy Bonez, I fell in love immediately. It was handmade with love and so freakin’ delicious! The bowls haven’t changed one bit – still the best in the city.
I ordered a coco chia bowl, and my sister got my other fave, the dragonfruit bowl.
How beautiful is this cafe?! You can stay and enjoy your bowl, or take it to go. I love all the natural light, the colors and of course the people. Shandy is always so kind. The vibe here is super chill. I can’t get enough!!Make sure to visit their new location. You won’t be sorry!!!
Bowls I recommend: Coco Chia & the Dragonfruit Bowl (these are my faves but every single one I have tried is good)
Juice I recommend: U Got Kale, Kahapuhi
Address: 12409 NE 124th St. Kirkland, WA. 98034
Running, Puppies + Chocolate
I’m super thankful for my friends that have been getting me out of the house for more runs. I am still lifting those weights, but the runs have been very refreshing. I’ve even been able to get Thor, my Great Dane, involved. He has been keeping me busy & being a fur-baby mom is a lot of fun. He keeps me company and we have a lot of fun together.
This last weekend, Thor and I headed out to Greenlake for a training run for the Hot Chocolate 15K that is taking place in Seattle in March. It was a beautiful fall day to be outside – perfect running weather!
I ran a casual 5K the day before, and got SOAKED, so the sunny fall weather was really refreshing.
This Hot Chocolate training run was so much fun! A huge shout out to Carleeh for putting it together. There will be another one in December & February. If you are in Seattle, be sure to join us! Click HERE to see the event info.
